A Polish citizen was detained on Sunday evening, February 11th, after trying to offer a 200-euro bribe to the customs inspector from Leuseni. The suspect gave the money to avoid sanctions for anabolic smuggling.

According to the National Anticorruption Center (NAC), the Polish citizen was documented by the customs officers for anabolic smuggling attempt. About 10,000 pills and more than 1,300 ampoules were found in the suspect’s car, hidden in the car trunk, in the glove compartment and in the cabin air filter.
