Athlete Mihai Pârgaru, suspected of killing a young man in front of a night club in the capital, remains in custody for another 30 days. The decision was taken today, August 9.
The information was confirmed for CrimeMoldova by the head of Chisinau Prosecutor's Office, Ştefan Şaptefraţi.
Recall that Mihai Pârgaru was detained as a suspect after a 30-year-old man was killed in a beating at a nightclub in Chisinau on May 24.
The fighter Aurel Ignat was detained in the same case. Another young man, Eugeniu Deliu, who participated in the beating, was announced in international search. According to the Prosecutor's Office, he has not yet been identified.
Three cases of hooliganism, minor and serious bodily integrity, resulting in death, have been initiated in the case leading to murder.
The suspects risk up to 15 years in prison if found guilty.
