Prosecutors of the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism annihilated on Monday, a network of Romanian pimps who operated in France. Prosecutors and police carried out searches in 12 houses in the counties of Caras-Severin (Oraviţa and Moldova Noua) and Timis (Jimbolia).
According to investigators, it is an organized crime group, consisting of 13 people, which opearates in Caras-Severin. They recruited and trafficked to France from Romania, more women who prostituted themselves in different areas. The traffickers often used violence.
"Today, neutralizing actions were simultaneously held in France and Romania to annihilate the organized criminal group," said DIOCT spokesperson in a press release.
