The group involved in the robbery of 2.6 million dollars from ATMs of the First Commercial Bank of Taiwan, might be involved in similar thefts committed in over 12 European countries, including Moldova, writes mold-street.md.

Three men were arrested in July of this year, for robbery committed in Taiwan: Andrejs Peregudovs from Latvia, Nicolae Penkov from Moldova and Mihail Colibaba also from Moldova but he hold the Romanian citizenship too.

According to the source, the criminal case involving the three men is currently pending and they are facing up to 12 years in prison.

So far, the police managed to recover most of the stolen money, but about 183 000 dollars were taken out of Taiwan by other members of the criminal group.
