About 200 migrants, including Romanian citizens, were rescued from a flower farm in Cornwall, UK after an English police check. Three farm owners have been detained on suspicion of committing a crime of modern slavery, Daily Mail reports.

Bosahan farm searches and detention of suspects took place this morning, February 8, under suspicion that migrants would have been held in inhumane conditions.

The victims, most of them men, from Lithuania, Bulgaria and Romania, are currently in a specialized center where their condition is checked.

At the same time, the detained suspects are to be subjects to an interrogation.
