Seven Romanian citizens will be imprisoned for having damaged the UK by over 3 million euros.

The individuals took possession of money through devices placed on ATMs, which illegally copied data from cards.

According to, the members of the criminal group were sentenced to prison terms of 2 to 6 years, while the group leader was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment.

The main accused was convicted in absentia as he fled from the UK and is hiding in China or Romania. The investigators established that he designed the devices that were placed on ATMs to illegally copy data from cards.
