Sorin Plesca, the youngest son of the deputy Nae-Simion Plesca won’t be imprisoned according to an order to cancel the criminal investigation on that case, signed yesterday, on May 26. According to the General Attorney's Office, the investigation was terminated because of the victim’s parents request.
"The investigation of the death of the eldest deputy Nae-Simion Plesca’s son, based on the evidences and the victim’s parents’ request, was cancelled", claimed the representatives of the General Attorney's Office to the Ziarul de Garda.
Earlier this week the Minister of Internal Affairs Alexander Jizdan said to the Unimedia: "Sorin Plesca will be brought to justice for killing his brother".
The tragedy happened on the evening of March 7 this year in the deputy Nae-Simion Plesca’s apartment. The youngest son shot down his elder brother from a gun legally kept in the house. The victim died immediately.
Sorin Plesca was born in 1990, and his brother was born in 1984.
After the tragedy the suspect ran away from home with his father's car. The car was found on March, 8 in Balti, and Sorin Plesca was found in Chisinau on March, 19 in the serious psychological condition.
During the interrogations Sorin Plesca fully recognized his guilt.
According to the law, the cancellation of criminal prosecution is possible when there is the reconciliation of the parties and so the parents of Sorin Plesca decided he won’t be imprisoned.
