Employees of border post Chisinau 2(Post) prevented two attempts of introduction into the country of substances that are believed to be drugs. Both cases were registered on 14-15 September, notifies the Border Service of Moldova.
Acting on the basis of risk analysis, border officers checked two postal items sent from Great Britain and China. As a result of physical checks were found 34g of brown vegetable matter and 50 g of white powder with a specific smell, camouflaged in aluminum foil. At the same time, the dog of the Border Service was involved, who confirmed the allegations of the inspectors regarding the presence of substances suspected to be drugs.
Currently, the cases are investigated by the Border Service subdivisions, to elucidate all the circumstances and identify the persons involved.
