Once he was not registered in the presidential race, Roman Mihaes sued the Central Election Commission.

Mihaes announced this on his social media page, considering the CEC's decision illegal and unfounded. Pretender to the Presidency, registered at the Court of Appeal a request for summons and explained that, "The fight continues".

"No signature has been declared false. Double signatures were not detected. The CEC went the other way. They violated the rights of 15.900 citizens of Republic of Moldova, and my rights as a candidate. All these arguments I will bring before the Court of Appeal, " Mihaes writes on his Facebook page.

Recall that the Central Election Commission rejected the applications for registration of four candidates because they did not meet the conditions necessary for the registration of the candidate for the President of Moldova.
