Vitalia Pavlicenco, National Liberal Party leader, informs that she will sue the Central Election Commission because she has not been registered in the electoral race for the position of the Head of the state.

"Members of DPN and NLP endorsed the idea of appealing to court the decision of the CEC and ardently debated the results of the dialogue of NLP with 10 political entities and associations after the decision, adopted by the Liberal Party on 16 July 2016, their position and attitude towards the political developments in the context of two subsequent parliamentary elections on both sides of the Prut," reads the release issued by the press service of the Liberal Party.

It should be noted that the CEC’s decision is also challenged in court by Roman Mihaes, who has not been registered in the presidential race either.
