The wealth of the prosecutor Adriana Bețișor could be checked by the National Commission for Integrity.
According to unimedia.md, a decision in this regard will be taken by the NCI, on July 28, when it will examine the case on a possible breach of the legal regime of income and assets declaration for 2015 by Betisor, who became famous after sentencing the former Prime Minister Vlad Filat.
The prosecutor is targeted by the NCI after Ziarul de Gardă recently published an investigation that in 2015 Betisor married the acting head of the Anti-Fraud Department of the State Tax Inspectorate, who got the respective position less than in a year since the detention of the former chief of the respective department. At the wedding, the couple gathered not less than one million lei, or more precisely, 31 000 EUR, 11 500 USD and 170 thousand lei.
Moreover, the prosecutor’s parents are building a house the market price of which would be worth at least 100 thousand euros, equivalent to over 2.2 million lei.
In addition, last year, Adriana Betisor came into possession of a new car Skoda Octavia manufactured in 2015.
With a work experience of exactly 5 years, Betisor manages big-names cases and those of fraud of hundreds of millions of lei, being practically the most publicized employee of the Prosecution Service.
