Vasile Strijca, a 26-year-old citizen of Moldova, escaped from a court in Kiev. The young man is charged with premeditated murder and illegal possession of a weapon. Previously, he had fled from a Moldovan court, where he was accused of theft.

Information about the escape was published on the Facebook page "Киев Оперативный".The post stated that the young man is very dangerous, "Distinctive marks: His left hand does not work – it was wounded, height 165, black hair and black teeth. Be careful and cautious! The offender is very dangerous! "

According to press reports, there are allegations that the young man could hold a Ukrainian passport, issued into another name.

The prosecution is investigating who is guilty of the defendant’s escape.

According to the information of the Department of Penitentiary Institutions, in March 2013, Vasile Strijca was announced wanted after he had fled from the court during the trial on charges of theft.

The young man comes from Coştangalia, Cimislia District and has several criminal records. At that time, the man was held in Prison no. 13 of Chisinau for theft, committed by "an organized criminal group, or a criminal organization."

Strijca ran away on March 15, 2013, when he was escorted to the Hancesti District Court to participate in the trial. According to the DPI, "approximately at 3:15 p.m., the prisoner, being in the detention ward of the court, escaped from the guard, provided by the Police Department of Hancesti, and went into an unknown direction.
