Anticorruption prosecutors and NAC officers have recently raided the headquarters of the National Motor Transport Agency (NMTA) and seized several boxes of documents, according to deschide.md.

The source claims that the operation had stirred up tensions in the ruling coalition; therefore, the information was not published.

The raids are related to the searches and detentions recently held at the Leuseni and Albita customs points.

The source adds that despite the discontent of the coalition members, prosecutors agreed only to withhold from publishing the information. They also postponed the detention of some people.

According to a document that came into the possession of deschide.md, searches at the premises of the NMTA aimed to document the issuance of fraudulent licenses and violations of cargo and passenger carriers, which were "covered" by NMTA.
