The National Anticorruption Center presented the results of their investigation on the auctions and purchases made for kindergartens and schools in the capital. They also made public the list of economic agents, who delivered foodstuffs to educational institutions.

In 2015, the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports of Chisinau and district directions contracted several companies to provide food delivery services and repair / construction services to the subordinated educational institutions.

The document states that about 182 577 792 lei were allocated for foodstuffs, of which approximately 48.8% were paid to municipal enterprises. 51,518,028 lei were allocated for repair / construction of subordinate offices.

It was also established that the same group of economic operators, who had been contracted in 2013-2014, were concerned in the food delivery in the period in question.

Similarly, the economic agents that were included in the blacklist of the Public Procurement Agency took other names and participated in public procurements under the guise of other companies.

According to the report, some people who previously had leading positions in state institutions are currently representing the operators that have been favored in public procurements. Also, there were established economic ties with delinquent companies, involved in outflow of cash.

At the same time, they identified people who work both within the district departments are also founders of the company, contracted by the departments.
