Plahotniuc is due to have meetings with the representatives of the US Congress, the State Department, the White House National Security Council, and other institutions.
According to independent.md, Plahotniuc allegedly took a private aircraft, the rental price of which costs about 30,000 dollars per hour and the entire visit would cost over 1 million dollars.
However, according to aircharterguide.com, the rent for such an aircraft is 12 thousand euros.
