License plates of Transnistrian cars and postgraduate diplomas could be recognized internationally.
The statement was made by the Acting President of the OSCE, Foreign Minister of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier today, July 26, at a press conference.
According to jurnal.md, OSCE Chairman said that the discussions on these topics have already begun and will be solved in short time.
According to Steinmeier these issues will alleviate a little bit the hostile relations between Chisinau and Tiraspol. The official said that it is necessary to solve the problems related to the free movement and the functioning of schools teaching in the Latin script in Transnistria, access of Dubasari farmers to agricultural lands located along the road line Tiraspol-Ribnita.
The Speaker of the Parliament, Andrian Candu, who was attending the event, announced that a concept aimed at the future status of the Transnistrian region, with a possible action plan or roadmap will be presented at the next meeting of the Parliamentary Consultation and Control Platform.
We note that the 5 + 2 discussions were resumed on 1 to 2 July in Berlin and on 12-13 July in Bavaria, after a two year break.
