A fiery fire broke out on the night of June 12, on 6/1 Ion Creanga Street in Buiucani district of the capital. The roof of a 100-square-meter restaurant turned into ashes.
Firefighters were alerted at 2:27, and eight intervention vehicles, including a car ramp, were directed to the scene.
As the fire extended to a 2-storeyed block of flats, the rescuers urgently evacuated the people and a gas cylinder, which risked exploding.
The flames were taken under control at 3:43 and completely extinguished at 6:25. All the circumstances and the cause of the fire will be determined by the Experimental Anti-Incendiary Laboratory.
No one suffered in the fire.
