Eight Moldovan citizens, including 3 children, suffered in a severe road accident in the Czech Republic on June 9. They were travelling in a Mercedes minibus, which overturned on a motorway from Prague to Rozvadov.

According to the Czech press, the accident was allegedly caused by the explosion of a rear tire of the minibus. At the same time, the vehicle was overloaded, the weight being inadequately distributed.

The minibus transported, besides passengers, a large quantity of bottles of beverages, fruit and vegetables, as well as other objects.

The vehicle overturned and got off the lane.

Several medical ambulances and a helicopter arrived on the site and took two victims to the hospital.
